It feels like people are looking forward to 2020 already and have asked about workshops for the New Year.
People have also asked if they altogether in one place hence this round-up blog post that brings things together.
At the moment, there’s the ESSENTIAL VIDEO SKILLS FOR COMMS workshop as well as VITAL FACEBOOK SKILLS but more are to follow as we head into the new decade.
Over the past six years I’ve helped train more than 3,000 people across the UK and Republic of Ireland and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a light bulb appear over someone’s head. To be in the room has real value as anyone who has been on a conference call can confirm.
Workshop: ESSENTIAL VIDEO SKILLS FOR COMMS
Video is big. It’s going to get bigger. It makes up 90 per cent of the internet by bandwidth and is the most effective form of content on Facebook and Twitter.
This session shows you how to plan, shoot, edit, add subtitles, titles and music and post effective comms video and how to tailor them to a range of platforms. There’s also legal advice on how to stay safe with copyright and GDPR.
I deliver this with filmmaker Stephen Davies.

Workshop: VITAL FACEBOOK SKILLS
Facebook is the channel that dwarfs them all. With almost 40 million users in the UK alone it is the place where people hang out. The strategy of having a page and waiting for people to come to it is over. The numbers around Facebook groups have soared by 121 per cent and ads have become more of a go-to.
This session shows you how to create better content for your page, connect with groups effectively, deal with trolls and create effective Facebook ads.
I deliver this with experience digital comms expert Sarah Lay.
